ich bin mit einem Fliegerkollegen am überlegen, vielleicht einmal an einem Drachen-Streckenflugseminar teilzunehmen.

Weiterbildung Drachen

Was gibt es denn da überhaupt?

Mir scheint das Angebot zur Weiterbildung für Drachenflieger sehr überschaubar bis kaum vorhanden.

Ich selbst habe im letzten Oktober meinen A-Schein gemacht und darf jetzt wohl selbstständig fliegen.

Streckenflug ist noch nicht mein Ansinnen, aber Starten, Landen, Thermik Hang usw.... da hätte ich schon auch Bedarf an Weiterbildung, nur wie, wo was?

Das einzige was ich derzeit überhaupt finden kann ist das hier

Ich bin mir nur nicht sicher, ob das für nen Neuling wie mich nicht ne Nummer zu groß ist.....und es kann ja wohl nicht sein, dass es nicht noch mehr Angebote gibt.

Weiterbildung bei betreuten Reisen ...

PerformanceCenter wird es für Drachen nicht geben; dafür klappt er nicht oft genug - und Strömungsabriss, Steilkurven, "Sturzflug" sind mit normalen Drachen kein Problem ...

Aber im Rahmen von Reisen bei versch. Flugschulen könnte dir geholfen werden.

Ja, das ist ein Wettbewerb, aber wenn du eh von Laragne über Avila, Piedrahita, dahin faehrst, ist ja auf dem Weg, gell?
Im suedlichen Europa brauchst du keine Einweisungen, weils dich eh abartig hochreisst - also Spanien im Juli/August?

Ich habe Alain in Laragne /Sisteron kennengelernt, bin mit ihm meine erste Strecke dort geflogen; war superschön. Einen Kurs mitmachen ist ein echtes Problem: Alain spricht kein Englisch! Und wenn man nicht wirklich gut Französisch kann, wird es spätestens im Funkverkehr echt schwierig.

Schade; Alain ist sehr sympathisch, und der Kurs sah sehr gut geführt und organisiert aus.

Aber wer Französisch spricht...

XC-Seminar in Laragne 24.-31.72004

Cross Country Clinic with Dennis Pagen
For the fourth time an XC and competition flying seminar will be organized during the Dutch Open championship in Laragne, France. A maximum of twelve students will receive intensive training by Dennis Pagen, Wayne Sawyer and Harm Darwinkel. At the site of the Dutch competition they will have theoretical lessons in the morning, watch and discuss the competition task of the day, fly their own task in small teams with an instructor each, and debrief during the evening. They will learn theoretical and practical competencies, required for cross country- and competition flying.

Transportation up the mountain and retrieval will be provided for, together with transportation for the competitors.

Many of the students of previous years have joined the competition and have put in excellent performance. Others have broken their personal records.

Because of overwhelming success of this concept, Dennis Pagen and Wayne Sawyer will hold a series of these seminars in Europe this year. There is still room for students during the course that is to be organized during the Dutch Open Championship.

The Dutch Open Championship, and therefore the seminar, will be held at Laragne (France) from 24 through 31 July 2004. Participation in the seminar (transportation included) costs € 450,-. Students will need to have a license (IPPI level 3) and the skills to launch, fly and land independently and they must have some experience with thermalling. Also a two meter radio is required. Ja dann los.... die Kohle tat mir zwar ziemlich weh, aber ich freu mich total auf Pagen und Thermikwunderland.
Nix Neues in Dinslaken, aber Günter Nebelung hat mich freundlicherweise in Kerken am Rosenmontag 2x hochgezerrt auf 1000m, aaahhh....!
Ringsum standen die Schneeschauer, aber in 170m Höhe überm Acker gab's schon 3min Nullschieber.
Sonntag in Uedem?
Ach nein, mein Vogel ist in Hamm beim VDV, vielleicht wird dort geflogen.

Na ja, eher morgen als Sonntag, denke ich.
Wir waren letztens auch im Schnee in Uedem - echt cool. Aber auch sauschön.
