Does anybody have any information about flying from Grossvenediger (Austria) - to the East???
The answer can be in German too.

Großvenediger

Hi Tia,

there's no frequently used take off area at the Großvenediger in Austria. But there are a lot well know areas around:
- Neukirchen Wildkogel (2000-2225m MSL), S
- Hollersbach near Mittersill, N
- Zell am See Schmittenhöhe (1965m MSL), S
- Kaprun Kitzsteinhorn (2295m MSL), NO
- Zell am Ziller Kreuzjoch, W-S
- Mayrhofen Penken (2095m MSL), S-O
...

These areas are a great Cross-country flying area. Maybe you can reach the Großvenediger by the air?

By the way: The Großvenediger is a part of a National Park. May be it isn't allowed to start from there.
