Leichtestes LTF Hike&Fly Gurtzeug

Darf ich auf das Thema noch mal drauf?
Wir haben den Traum von einer "Mehrtagestour" durch die Alpen, viel wandern, hoffentlich noch mehr fliegen, meistens im Zelt, wenn nicht anders möglich - auch mal reguläre Unterkunft. Schirm, so der aktuelle Plan, kein Single-Skin oder super Leichtgewicht... sondern einen ca. 5kg Wing (wohl Kategorie B) mit vielleicht von Euch angesprochenem H&F-Gurtzeug, am Liebsten auch wieder mit Popo-Airbag und der Möglichkeit in dem separaten Rucksack (beim Flug dann ja auch wieder am Rücken) all das restliche "Zeug" zu transportieren.
Würdet Ihr in solch einem Fall auch das NEO STRING Gurtzeug empfehlen? Bei einem halbwegs normalen Wanderrucksack, wäre doch der Airbag im Wege oder nicht? Sollte dem so sein, welche Alternative gibt es noch?

Geht genauso, machen wir auch mit 4kg-Schirm und dem Gin-Rucksack - manchmal auch mit RangeAir statt Neo, aber ein "richtiger" Rucksack lässt sich bei mehr Gepäck auf schwierigen Startplätzen leichter handeln als das formlose Gepäckabteil eines Liegegurts.

Nach längerem warten ist endlich das Neo String 3.0 mit Airbag da.
Sitzt sich schon sehr bequem, allerdings scheint mir das "reinrutschen" aus aufrechter Position nicht ganz automatisch, da muss man etwas an den Beinschlaufen ziehen, das hatte ich beim Kortel Kruyer und Niviuk Roamer nicht.
Dafür ist es mit unter 300g natürlich super leicht.
Wie man auf dem dritten Foto sieht, wird das die Beinschlaufe etwas gestaucht, wenn der Airbag dran ist. Der zieht da etwas nach hinten. Außerdem ribbelt der Klett vom Airbag die Schlaufe oben am Gurtzeug bei mehrfachen auf und zu machen anscheind auf, da hab ich etwas Tape dazwischen geklebt.
Rucksack läßt sich auch ohne Probleme aufsetzen.

Das Packmaß ist genial, ich bekomme Nova Doubleskin 17 + Gurtzeug mit Airbag zusammen in den compression bag.

Nach längerem warten ist endlich das Neo String 3.0 mit Airbag da.

Ich sehe du nimmst das mit dem Gewicht sehr ernst. Trägst einen sehr leichten Helm, der auch bei einem Aufprall nicht kaputt geht. Auf Socken und schwere Stiefel wird auch verzichtet..selbst die Handschuhe lässt du wegt.

Das String 3 hat im Gegensatz zum Vorgänger keine Beinschalen mehr, deshalb das "Stauchen". Dafür bzw. deswegen ist es etwas leichter.

Was sich bei solchen GZ sehr bewährt hat ist ein zweiter Ultraleichtbeschleuniger, der fest an der Umlenkrollen-Schlaufe eingeknotet und auf Beinstrecker-Länge eingestellt wird. Beim Start hat man das vor dem Bein baumeln, da stört's nicht - im Flug zieht es die Beinschlaufen vor und macht generell alle Stringgurte auf Dauer bequemer. Gewicht knapp 30g.

Ist das der neue Rescue Bag? --> Habe gehört das Neo einen "Rescue Bag" dazu rausbringt, der Als Rucksack fungiert und gleichzeitig eine Rettung in Tandemgröße unterbringen kann.

Hi (shrupixd) - many apologies for writing in English on a German forum!

I have previously bought and used the Neo String 2 (which indeed had extremely uncomfortable "Beinschalen") with its matching airbag. I have now bought the Neo String 3 (looks/feels amazing!) but it seems that it does not fit the String 2 airbag (it does not have the required velcro at the back). Am I missing something?
Also, your post mentions the possible existing of a tandem airbag with integrated reserve container - apart from your post there is nothing about this in Google searches - can you let me/us know what information you have?

I have previously bought and used the Neo String 2 (which indeed had extremely uncomfortable "Beinschalen") with its matching airbag. I have now bought the Neo String 3 (looks/feels amazing!) but it seems that it does not fit the String 2 airbag (it does not have the required velcro at the back). Am I missing something?
Also, your post mentions the possible existing of a tandem airbag with integrated reserve container - apart from your post there is nothing about this in Google searches - can you let me/us know what information you have?

Hey, I do not know anything regarding a tandem reverse, I think someone else mentioned that.
On their page they write it is compatible with the airbag:

What I do is zip the velcro around the string where also the shoulder straps are attached. Attachement points for the legs are there, that works totally fine. The attached schematic shows that as well I think.

The 2.0 airbag does not match the String 3.0. The new one is sturdier (heavier as well), has an additional strap to fix it at the lumbar position and different velcro.

The rescue bag for tandem use does exist and is scheduled for 2021.

The leg holders of the 3.0 are indeed softer than those of the 2.0 (but I don't have any problem with them, flying it a lot), but this comes at a price: there is only one - comfy - seating position left (2 with the 2.0), and the pod option has gone.

As an update for this (and apologies for posting in English, again!) - you CAN fit a Neo Airbag "2" onto a Neo String 3. This is done by an extra piece of velcro supplied by the manufacturer. But the dorsal strap is missing (but apparently not absolutely required). There is indeed a "tandem" bag from Neo that can be attached to the String 3, but this does apparently not have any protection. Already in stock in some shops in Europe, but no pictures available.

The tandem bag (aka "Rescue Backpack") does not need protection. It provides the rescue container plus spreader connection and acts as rucksack for 2 minimal harnesses. If you want protection add it to those.

Noch eine Frage zum Neo 3.0 und dessen Airbag: hat dieser noch ein Fach, in das man im Flug was unterbringt (z.B. den Rucksack) oder setzt man den Rucksack für den Flug wieder auf?
