Meine Kumpel Günter und Hense fliegen einen. Starten ganz normal, am Donnerstag in Schrattenbach bei ca. 20-25 km/h auch für geübte Piloten kein Problem!

Hallo

Ich hab die Woche paar Starts mit dem Cure M an der Winde bei wenig Wind beobachtet .
das C im Startverhalten kann ich auch nicht nachvollziehen .
der Schirm startet einwandfrei , er füllt sich gleichmäßig über die gesamte Spannweite
, keine tendenz zum abknicken in der Mitte . kein überschießen .

aber ich hätte mal eine Frage zu dem Testbericht EN/LTF
ich kann nur ein EN Flight test report finden , hat der Schirm dann nur EN ? .
ich bin da nicht mehr auf dem laufendem , ich dachte die Schirm müssen LTF geprüft sein .
zumindest in Merkels Reich ? in anderen Länder ist klar .

Seit dem letzten Jahr sind in Deutschland auch die EN-Test und Zulassungen von Alain Zoller anerkannt, ein deutscher Pilot benötigt also kein LTF mehr, wenn die EN-Zulassung bei einer französischen Zulassungsstelle gemacht wurde.

ABER, der Cure hat auch LTF

Here is my impression after "sudden" move from Tala to Cure. Initially I wanted to wait till end of the season... however looking back I am glad I did it now.

After first weekend:
Finally I flew Cure twice last weekend in Austria/Italy . I flew M at ~98kg and here is what i can say till now:
- i feel "at home" immediately - it's same BGD breed as Tala. Same basic behaviour/reaction to the air, however Cure gives more information where is what in the air and shows a way of air flow, while Tala is more neutral and makes less "suggestions".
- surprisingly it feels as "more" wing above me than Tala. Numbers would suggest it should be less. AR doesn't feel any different to Tala's or i would even say it feel less "stringy" than Tala! Leading edge is definitely more stable/resistant to the turbulence. In case of Tala I need to manage more air myself and Cure takes more on its own, also at the start of deflation Cure gives more time to react. Wing has more energy in it - which feels a bit like "beefy Tala" Smile. No changes in agility department though - it follows weight-shift and brakes input perfectly. Brakes pressure is more or less the same and Cure needs less of them. Also Cure requires slightly more awareness of brakes travel at the "extrem side" - Tala allows more "abuse" here.
- my worry about sink-rate didn't materialise - it is actually less than i have on Tala M. Trim speed was 40-41 kph, much lighter and shorter than Tala's speed bar gives +12..14kph. I think ~11 for GR is quite sensible assumption.
- start - here there is some difference with Tala as Cure needs almost no inputs to pop up. Applying same as with Tala technique to start leads to very fast rising Cure which in turn requires quite a stab on brakes to keep it in place. I think anyone will learn how to start Cure after short play with it.

Move from Tala to Cure is straight forward. I would like to say I feel myself more confident and comfortable on Cure. There is one area to discover - what this "more energy in the wing" will do in case of big deflation - SIV videos of Cure suggest it should be no problem (as it was on Tala).

And after second:
Another 10h over weekend including one ~100k which i have to stop to save time for driving home.

I would like to say - it feels as I always have been flying Cure i.e. transition from Tala is just transparent. However for unknown reason Cure is flying better Smile.
Same observation as before : the pressure lost which would definitely lead to deflation for Tala is managed by Cure and thus gives pilot time to react. One 40-50% asymmetric collapse (slightly) inside the cloud was an non event at all - same easy, steady, progressive BGD style of recovery.


There is no other way but say it again - thanks Bruce for another perfect flying machine!
